Our youth cricket and STEM academy for underserved youth in the city of Compton focuses on providing opportunities for young individuals to learn and excel in both cricket and STEM fields. We are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where children can develop their skills, build confidence, and pursue their passions. Our academy is committed to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sports and STEM, and we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of our students.

Why Our Program

Southern California Junior Cricket was created to offer more than just basketball, football or soccer in an undeserved community. We aim to break the barriers that are often injected into these communities, by providing opportunities for young talents from marginalized backgrounds to showcase their skills through sports. Our community-driven initiatives are no longer limited to the elite, but instead becomes a powerful tool for social change (globally)..

Today, SCJCA is managed by a diverse team of executives who bring global experience, local insight, and a wide variety of skills to the table. With the help of local coaches and organizations across the globe, SCJCA teams like the Compton Sharks have trained their way into regional tournaments hosted by the Southern California Cricket Association (SCCA) in 2019 and Willow Academy in Northern California in early 2020. With continued support from countless volunteers, organizations, and supporters like you, SCJCA envisions a program that changes the lives of thousands more of our inner-city youth through cricket.
